This is the second funeral Larvin and Clegg have organised for us in 14 months. In which is a traumatic time Abi and Jason are fantastic and so caring about everything and the attention to detail is unbelievable. And with their guidance and experience what is a truly awful day goes like clockwork, the whole day was seamless.
Obviously we will use them again ,but I’m hoping not to see them for a while …nothing personal.

Following the passing of my brother Christopher, then my second brother John within only two weeks of each other; my mother, family and I were desperate for the support of a caring and compassionate Funeral Directors.
Jason and Abi were Funeral Directors to my father-in-law and knew we were going to be in safe hands.
Whilst caring for Christopher, we advised Jason and Abi of the passing of John and requested again for their help, support and guidance. Their genuine shock and disbelief at this unique situation were followed by the most professional considerate and caring process with a most genuine human touch.
Jason, Abi and their team were amazing. The recommended support offered by the Celebrant Jill Young was equally amazing.
Their professional but human approach with all our family at this most difficult time is something we could not have done without.

Abi and Jason supported me and my family through the most traumatic experience of our lives from the first time I spoke to Jason which was at 11.30pm one evening in September this year his reassurance and kind words told me that they were the people we would entrust with the care of mum and our family. From beginning to end they supported us and with their help made mum’s cremation a day to celebrate and cherish, as a family we now consider them to be apart of our family.

Jason and Abi were nothing but respectful, kind and thoughtful in their services. They were so compassionate, and genuinely seem to deeply care about their work. Jason in particular got to know my mum very well before her passing, they had a good laugh together, my mum trusted herself to their service and I’m glad she did, they’re very good people. I will always appreciate the effort and kindness shown to me, and how well they handled us as a family which I know wasn’t always very easy, as we are plenty and some of us are more difficult than others, but they did it all with a smile. As well as the opportunity to personally come and tend to my mum in the funeral home after she had passed and make her look more like mum again, I will never forget that.

I recommend them highly. They will make sure you, and your loved ones are taken care of with respect and kindness.

There are not enough words to convey my heartfelt thanks to Jason,Abi and the Team at Larvin and Clegg for taking such great care of my husband who just recently and so very sadly passed away after a very long illness. I was left with the task of appointing a funeral director and couldn’t have chosen better than Jason and Abi. They made me feel like I was part of their family with their lovely, kind, caring and compassionate nature at a time when I was at my lowest. Nothing was too much trouble for them.
My husband was treated with the utmost care whilst he was with them and was provided with a very professional service on the day of his funeral with Jason walking in front of the funeral hearse, which my family and I found to be very respectful and deeply moving.

Jason went out to see my mum at her home, at her request, a few months before she passed to discuss her funeral wishes with her. My mum was very impressed with him and felt he gave her all the answers and information she needed, to know she would be in good hands when the time came.

From their crematorium recommendation of The Birches to the flowers and post-celebration catering, their care, empathy and attention to every single detail was absolutely perfect. No words but amazing! Abi and Jason made everything so much easier and really cared. I felt at ease knowing my Gran was with them and they almost felt like part of the family! The little details just meant to world to us. We will definitely recommend them and will be using them from now on (hopefully not too soon!)

Before our lovely Dad died recently, he had thoughtfully written his wishes for his own funeral arrangements and Larvin & Clegg was his preferred funeral director.
Dad had made his decision based on the great care provided by Jason and Abi when a family friend died last year, and he saw the wonderful support given to his widow and also the beautiful venue and surroundings of The Birches Crematorium.
Right from my initial call to Abi, we felt in safe hands – like most families, this was unfamiliar territory for us. However, from the moment Jason and Abi arrived to take Dad into their care, their approachable manner and gentle guidance provided us with reassurance and support throughout the whole process. Nothing was too much trouble.
Jason checked on Mum’s well-being each time we spoke, and he patiently listened and suggested ways to make our ideas work well for Dad’s service. He also took time to edit (all!) our photos into a slide show and put them to music.
Of course, Larvin & Clegg took care of all the usual arrangements, such as dealing with all the charity donations, organising beautiful flowers, a limousine and also Jill, our wonderful celebrant. They were utterly professional throughout, but it was their personal touch that made all the difference.
Of course, we wish that Dad was still with us, but as always, he made a wise choice.

Abi and Jason looked after us following my wife’s untimely passing in May 2023. We first met them both at an open day at Birches Crematorium when we knew my wife’s diagnosis was very sadly terminal and were immediately struck at how personable and friendly they were. When my wife died a few months later they took care of every detail and were fantastic – nothing was too much trouble. It was great weight off my mind. They made a very difficult time much easier to cope with.

We said goodbye to a dear friend myself and my Aunty who’s wheelchair bound visited the branch in Congleton was pleased to be able to access the building with ease as it is wheelchair friendly which a lot of places are not.

We were greeted by Jason who was professional yet at the same time we received a lovely welcoming and was treated with respect.
The set up was warm and inviting and we felt at ease.

We were not rushed seeing Tony for the last time.

The service was beautiful simple but with great meaning.
